Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa (prepare according to package instructions)

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • A pinch of salt

  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • Sliced banana

  • Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

  • Greek yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Quinoa:

    • Cook 1 cup of quinoa according to the package instructions. Once cooked, fluff it with a fork.

  2. Make the Sweet Quinoa Base:

    • In a small saucepan, combine the cooked quinoa, almond milk, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

    • Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it's warmed through and has a creamy consistency.

  3. Assemble the Bowl:

    • Spoon the sweetened quinoa into a bowl.

  4. Add Toppings:

    • Top the quinoa with fresh berries, sliced banana, and a dollop of Greek yogurt.

  5. Sprinkle with Nuts:

    • Sprinkle chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans) over the top for added crunch and nutrition.

  6. Optional Extras:

    • Drizzle an extra swirl of honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.

    • Garnish with a sprinkle of chia seeds or flaxseeds for an extra nutritional boost.

  7. Serve and Enjoy:
